Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on care that helps residents feel safe and respected every single day
• Assist residents with daily activities like bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
• Monitor and record vital signs, intake, and output, and report changes to the nursing team
• Serve meals and support residents during dining to keep nutrition and hydration on track
• Answer call lights promptly and respond to resident needs with patience and kindness
• Partner with nurses, therapists, and fellow CNAs to deliver smooth, coordinated care
• Keep resident rooms, equipment, and common areas clean, organized, and comfortable
• Document care accurately so every shift picks up right where the last one left off

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Maine
• Current BLS certification
• A genuine passion for caring for older adults in a long term care setting
• Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition residents safely, with or without accommodation
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Reliable attendance and a professional, respectful approach with residents and coworkers
• Comfort working in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation environment
