Occupational Therapist - Per Diem
Location: Santa Monica, CA
Shift Type: PRN / Per Diem, flexible scheduling (hours vary)
Candidate Pay Rate: $58 - $63 per hour
Roles & Responsibilities
- Evaluate residents and develop individualized, evidence-informed treatment plans
- Provide therapeutic interventions to improve activities of daily living and functional mobility
- Collaborate closely with PT, SLP, nursing, and other disciplines to coordinate care
- Complete accurate, timely documentation that supports excellent clinical outcomes
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations to keep care safe and effective
Qualifications
- Active California Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
- Skilled Nursing Facility experience preferred but enthusiasm and strong clinical reasoning count
- Demonstrated teamwork and clinical reasoning skills in interdisciplinary settings
- Reliable, professional approach to documentation and regulatory compliance
Knowledge & Skills
- Occupational therapy assessment and treatment planning
- Patient assessment and ADL-focused interventions
- Functional mobility strategies and adaptive equipment recommendations
- Strong clinical reasoning and interdisciplinary communication
- Accurate clinical documentation and regulatory knowledge
