LPN – UHC Staffing

Location: Lancaster, Pennsylvania

Start Date: 04-11-2026

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 8-hour shift, specific start/end times and days to be confirmed (schedule to be provided by facility)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care as a licensed practical nurse
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Monitor patient condition and report changes to the care team
Maintain clear, timely documentation in the patient record
Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members
Support patients and families with education and emotional reassurance

Qualifications

Current LPN license in Pennsylvania (or compact state eligibility where applicable)
Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
Comfortable with medication administration, wound care, and routine nursing tasks
Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team
Previous LPN experience preferred but new grads with strong clinical skills are welcome to apply

Education

LPN diploma or practical nursing certificate required
High school diploma or GED required

Knowledge & Skills

Foundational nursing knowledge in adult and geriatric care
Medication administration and documentation best practices
Basic assessment skills and vital signs monitoring
Electronic health record (EHR) navigation and charting
Infection control and safety procedures
Patient-centered communication and time management
