Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (day shift, includes 30-minute meal break; may vary per assignment)

Candidate Pay Rate: $29 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Monitor and report changes in patient condition
Assist with activities of daily living and patient education
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality outcomes

Qualifications

Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in North Carolina
Current BLS certification
Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Previous LPN experience in a healthcare setting preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in medication administration and patient care
Excellent interpersonal and patient interaction skills
Knowledge of infection control and safety protocols
Ability to adapt to different patient care units
Time management and organizational skills
