Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care in an outpatient clinic setting
• Perform patient assessments, take vitals, and document findings accurately
• Administer treatments and medications within LPN scope and clinic protocols
• Assist providers with exams, minor procedures, and care coordination
• Triage phone calls and coordinate follow-up to ensure continuity of care
• Prepare and collect specimens, manage point of care testing, and maintain supplies
• Educate patients and families about care plans, medications, and self-care
• Support clinic operations by helping cover other locations when staffing requires it

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in Hawaii or ability to obtain state licensure promptly
• Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Prior outpatient clinic experience required; Family Practice, Behavioral Health, Internal Medicine, OB, or Urgent Care experience preferred
• Ability to commit to 80 hours every two weeks as required by the assignment, no exceptions
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Willingness to assist at other clinic locations for coverage when needed

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program; current LPN license

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of outpatient clinic workflows and patient triage
• Proficient with EMR documentation and basic computer skills
• Skill in obtaining vital signs, injections, wound care, and specimen collection
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a busy clinic while maintaining attention to detail
• Culturally sensitive patient communication and education skills
