Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts with 30-minute call response time

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform interventional radiology and cath lab procedures including coronary interventions and balloon pump support
Assist with Impella and IABP cases while ensuring patient safety and comfort
Operate advanced imaging equipment including Siemens and Phillips systems
Collaborate with cardiologists and respiratory therapists during STEMI emergencies
Document procedures accurately using the Merge Hemo system
Support critically ill patients through complex peripheral and coronary interventions

Qualifications

ARRT certification required
Fluoro permit required
Experience with coronary procedures, balloon pumps, and Impella support
Comfort working with critically ill patients in a high-volume STEMI center
Strong teamwork skills and ability to respond to 30-minute call requirements

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient with Merge Hemo documentation system
Familiarity with Siemens and Phillips cath lab equipment
Knowledge of laser, rotablator, IVUS, FFR, and angiojet procedures
Understanding of peripheral and coronary circulation interventions
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with 15-20 cases per day
