Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire emergency services and nursing operations across four hospitals, ensuring exceptional patient care and outcomes.
• Drive strategic planning, budget management, and resource allocation to optimize departmental performance.
• Collaborate with physicians, community leaders, and interdisciplinary teams to enhance care coordination and patient flow.
• Champion a culture of safety and continuous improvement, using evidence-based practices to elevate quality.
• Mentor and develop emerging leaders, fostering succession planning and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing, healthcare, or business (MSN or related) is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in a hospital, outpatient, or clinical setting.
• Current RN license in Iowa is a must.
• Professional certification in a relevant specialty is a plus.
• Valid driver's license for work-related travel.

Education

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or a related healthcare/business master's degree

Knowledge & Skills

• Deep understanding of emergency services and nursing operations.
• Strong strategic planning and financial acumen, including budget management.
• Proven ability to develop staff and build high-performing teams.
• Expertise in regulatory compliance and quality improvement.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration.
• Knowledge of current reimbursement systems and payer sources.
