Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the dental hygienist with chairside patient care and procedures
• Prepare and break down treatment rooms between patients
• Sterilize dental instruments and follow infection control protocols
• Welcome patients and help them feel at ease during their visit
• Take dental radiographs and update patient charts as directed
• Keep supplies stocked and treatment areas organized

Qualifications

• Dental Assisting or Dental Hygienist Assistant experience preferred
• Current Virginia dental assistant credentials or ability to meet facility requirements
• CPR/BLS certification if required by the dental office
• Comfort with chairside dental procedures and sterilization
• Strong bedside manner and clear communication skills
• Availability for the single-day shift on October 16, 2026
