Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7 days on/7 days off

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $77 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic examinations on patients as ordered by providers and directed by radiologists
Utilize clinical expertise and problem-solving skills to obtain examinations of the highest quality
Determine appropriate positioning and scan parameters for each study
Review images for clarity and accuracy to assure radiologists can clearly visualize the area of concern
Maintain a positive customer service attitude during all interactions
Monitor console display to adjust density and contrast appropriately
Operate PACS and EMR systems to enable proper staging of examinations
Ensure correct patient ID is on all images

Qualifications

ARRT (R) certification required
BLS certification required
ARRT(CT) certification required within 18 months of employment
1 year experience in Radiography required
1 year CT experience required

Education

Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology required

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in Radiography and CT imaging techniques
Strong problem-solving abilities in each assigned modality
Excellent attention to detail for image quality assurance
Skilled in PACS and EMR systems operation
Professional and courteous customer service approach
