Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting while preserving dignity
Take and record vital signs accurately and report any concerns to nursing staff
Support safe transfers and mobility assistance using proper body mechanics
Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and resident observations
Communicate clearly with the care team and family members to support resident needs
Follow infection control protocols and facility policies to keep residents safe

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in Pennsylvania (required)
Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and required health screenings
Strong communication skills and a compassionate attitude

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Current CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Comfortable assisting with ADLs and basic nursing tasks
Knowledge of infection control and standard precautions
Basic vital signs monitoring and charting skills
Ability to follow care plans and report changes promptly
Team player with good interpersonal and time management skills
