Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and personal assistance with dignity and respect
Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility)
Observe and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team promptly
Support safe transfers and positioning, following proper body mechanics
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care and patient interactions
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated care

Qualifications

Current, valid CNA certification (must meet Pennsylvania state requirements)
Active state registry/authorization to practice as a CNA in PA
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Minimum reliable work history and ability to pass background checks and required screenings
Strong communication skills and a patient-first attitude

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an approved CNA training program and state certification

Knowledge & Skills

Compassionate patient care and strong interpersonal skills
Basic vital signs monitoring and comfort with routine clinical tasks
Knowledge of infection control and standard precautions
Accurate documentation and time management
Teamwork mindset and ability to follow delegated nursing tasks
