Roles & Responsibilities

• Triage and assess patient concerns with compassion and expertise
• Coordinate care across cardiology services to ensure smooth patient journeys
• Assist with Exercise Stress Tests and Tilt Table Tests
• Perform EKGs and manage heart monitoring equipment
• Start IVs for diagnostic testing
• Educate patients on cardiac conditions, medications, and treatment plans
• Occasionally assist with patient rooming in the clinic

Qualifications

• Active Colorado RN license in good standing
• BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association
• 3 years of Cardiology-specific Clinic/Ambulatory experience
• Clinic/Ambulatory Care experience required
• Cardiology background and Epic experience required

Knowledge & Skills

• Cardiology nursing and ambulatory care
• EKG interpretation and heart monitoring
• IV therapy and diagnostic testing support
• Patient education on cardiac conditions
• Epic electronic health record proficiency
• Triage and care coordination
• Exercise stress testing and tilt table procedures
