Certified Surgical Technologist - Operating Room

Location: Anaconda, Montana

Start Date: 05-26-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM with 5-7 days of call per month including one weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare operating rooms and ensure all surgical instruments and supplies are ready for procedures
Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments and maintaining sterile field
Collaborate with the surgical team to deliver safe, high-quality patient care
Anticipate surgeon needs and respond quickly in a fast-paced environment
Maintain equipment and supplies to support smooth surgical workflows

Qualifications

Certified Surgical Technologist credential preferred
Minimum 1 year of previous operating room experience
BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

Operating Room and Scrub Technologist expertise
Sterile technique and surgical instrumentation knowledge
Ability to anticipate needs during procedures
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Comfortable with call responsibilities and holiday coverage
