Candidate Pay Rate: $21 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
Monitor and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff promptly
Assist with safe transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics
Support mealtime and personal hygiene, preserving dignity and comfort
Document care accurately and timely in facility records
Collaborate with the care team to deliver person-centered service

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (Connecticut) required or eligible to obtain
Valid CPR/BLS certification preferred or obtained upon hire
Willingness to complete background checks and health screenings
Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-centered mindset
Dependable, punctual, and able to work collaboratively on a care team

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completed state-approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care and ADL assistance
Safe transfer and positioning techniques
Accurate charting and time management
Clear, compassionate communication with residents and families
Infection control and standard precautions
