Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents including assistance with bathing, dressing, toileting, and eating
• Take and record accurate vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration
• Help residents with mobility, transfers, and repositioning to ensure comfort and safety
• Observe and promptly report any changes in resident condition to nursing staff
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents
• Document care delivered in a timely and accurate manner

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
• CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing, long-term care, or similar setting preferred
• Ability to pass background checks and meet facility compliance requirements
• A compassionate, patient, and reliable approach to caregiving

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with residents, families, and team members
• Solid understanding of resident care procedures, safety protocols, and infection control
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a care team
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Basic computer skills for documentation and charting
