Cath Lab Technologist
Location: Tacoma, WA
Start Date: 08-31-2026
End Date: 11-30-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Days, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, 10-hour shifts; call rotation of 8-10 days per 6-week period
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $86 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform right and left heart catheterizations with or without intervention, including structural heart and vascular cases
- Scrub, monitor, and document during Cath Lab and EP procedures
- Assist with advanced hemodynamic support devices like IABP and Impella
- Provide Phase 1 recovery care and sedation management for patients
- Collaborate closely with cardiologists and the care team to keep cases running smoothly
- Float to the EP lab as needed to support the one-team approach
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of cardiac Cath Lab or EP experience
- Active RCIS, ARRT (RT), or RCES certification
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Hands-on experience with scrub, monitor, and documentation responsibilities
- EPIC, MacLab, and GE Imaging experience preferred
- ICU or PACU experience is a plus for prep and recovery assignments
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid understanding of cardiac anatomy, hemodynamics, and procedural workflows
- Comfortable with sedation and Phase 1 recovery
- Knowledge of IABP and Impella insertion and monitoring
- Proficiency with EPIC charting, MacLab, and GE imaging equipment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills for a one-team culture
- Ability to stay calm and adapt quickly in a fast-paced procedural environment
