Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms with sterile supplies, instruments, and equipment
• Assist surgeons and surgical teams during procedures by passing instruments and supplies
• Maintain a strict sterile field to ensure patient safety
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team to keep procedures running smoothly
• Help position patients and prepare incision sites before surgery
• Restock and organize surgical suites after each case

Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred, but new grads are welcome to apply
• Current BLS certification is required
• No minimum experience needed - we are happy to train the right candidate
• Ability to stand for long periods and move efficiently during surgeries
• A keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to patient safety

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of sterile technique and surgical instrumentation
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate effectively with the OR team
• Ability to think quickly and adapt in fast-paced situations
• Comfortable working with surgical technology and equipment
• Critical thinking skills to anticipate surgeon needs and respond promptly
