Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive speech, language, voice, and swallowing assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans that help patients communicate and thrive
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to deliver integrated, patient-centered care
  • Empower patients and families with education and resources to support progress at home
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and track patient outcomes to enhance quality of care
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team conferences and contribute your unique therapeutic perspective

Qualifications

  • Current Oregon Speech-Language Pathologist license in good standing
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience with pediatric or orthopedic populations a plus
  • Current BLS certification (or ability to obtain)
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills

Knowledge & Skills

  • Thorough knowledge of speech and language disorders, augmentative communication, and swallowing therapy
  • Skilled in clinical documentation and electronic health records
  • Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
  • Strong interpersonal skills for building rapport with patients, families, and colleagues
  • Adaptability to quickly adjust to changing patient needs and schedules
