Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess patients' respiratory status and develop individualized care plans
• Administer respiratory therapies, medications, and treatments as ordered
• Manage ventilator support and airway care for patients of all ages
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary care team
• Monitor patient responses and adjust treatments as needed
• Provide education and support to patients and their families

Qualifications

• Current Oregon Respiratory Therapist license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of respiratory therapy modalities and equipment
• Ventilator management and airway support expertise
• Effective communication and patient education skills
• Ability to document accurately and maintain patient records
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
