Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, family-centered care to pediatric patients on the Med/Surg unit
• Assess, plan, and implement nursing care with a focus on patient safety and comfort
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
• Document patient progress accurately and communicate effectively with families
• Respond quickly to changes in patient conditions and adapt to shifting priorities

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Ohio (or multi-state compact license)
• Pediatric Med/Surg nursing experience preferred
• Current BLS certification (PALS strongly preferred)
• Passion for working with children and their families

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Proficiency with electronic health records and medication administration
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced pediatric environment
