Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, family-centered care to critically ill pediatric patients
• Monitor vital signs, assess patient conditions, and respond quickly to changes
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and the healthcare team
• Support and educate families during stressful and sensitive times
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records
• Participate in emergency response and resuscitation efforts when needed

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Ohio
• Current BLS and PALS certifications
• Experience in pediatric critical care or PICU preferred
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care

Knowledge & Skills

• Pediatric assessment and monitoring techniques
• Ventilator and critical care equipment knowledge
• Medication administration and pediatric dosing
• Emergency response and resuscitation protocols
• Family-centered care principles
• Effective interdisciplinary collaboration
