Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive pre-operative assessments to ensure patients are ready for surgery
• Coordinate with the surgical team to plan and prepare for each patient's procedure
• Administer medications and IV therapies as ordered
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families before surgery
• Maintain a safe and sterile environment in the pre-op area
• Document patient information accurately and thoroughly in the EHR

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted RN license in Ohio
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Previous pre-op, PACU, or surgical nursing experience preferred
• Strong critical thinking and patient assessment skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
