Candidate Pay Rate: $77 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform nuclear medicine procedures and imaging with accuracy and care
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals following established protocols and safety standards
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment and perform routine quality control checks
- Prioritize patient safety and comfort, explaining procedures and addressing concerns
- Document patient information, procedure details, and ensure accurate records
- Collaborate with technologists, radiologists, and the care team to deliver timely results
- Complete required competency exams and specialty checklists to maintain high standards
Qualifications
- Current Nuclear Medicine Technologist credential (title listed in primary skills)
- BLS certification (required)
- DCI/BVP certification (required)
- License/Certificate Verification will be completed prior to start
- Ability to pass required health screenings: COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, TB testing, Hepatitis B, influenza, varicella, Tdap, and drug screening
- Successful completion of Prime Core Competencies Exam, Prime Skills Checklist, and Prime Specialty Exam
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of nuclear medicine imaging protocols and radiation safety
- Comfortable with patient positioning and working with a diverse patient population
- Proficient in operating imaging systems and troubleshooting basic equipment issues
- Detail-oriented documentation and record-keeping skills
- Good communication skills for patient interaction and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Ability to follow infection control and hospital compliance procedures
