Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide specialized oncology and bone marrow transplant care to patients on a Med Surg/Tele unit
• Administer chemotherapy safely and monitor patients for adverse reactions
• Manage central lines and perform blood draws with precision and care
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care
• Assess, plan, and evaluate nursing care for complex hematology and oncology patients
• Document accurately in Meditech and Onco EMR systems

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of current BMT Oncology hospital acute care experience
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications required
• ONS Certification required
• BMT/HemOnc experience strongly preferred
• Active RN license in good standing

Knowledge & Skills

• Oncology and bone marrow transplant nursing expertise
• Med Surg/Tele patient care skills
• Chemotherapy administration and central line management
• Meditech EMR and Onco EMR proficiency
• Baxter IV pump operation
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking abilities
