Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and oral health assessments
• Educate patients on preventive care and oral hygiene techniques
• Take and develop dental X-rays to support accurate diagnoses
• Assist the dentist during procedures and treatments
• Document patient care and maintain accurate records
• Ensure a clean, sterile, and welcoming environment

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong patient communication and chairside manners
• Ability to work collaboratively with the dental team
• Attention to infection control standards

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments and hygiene procedures
• Skilled in patient education and preventive care
• Proficient with dental software and record keeping
• Detail-oriented with a focus on patient safety
• Team player with a positive attitude
