Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists chairside during patient examinations and procedures
• Prepare and sterilize instruments to ensure a safe, hygienic environment
• Take and develop dental x-rays, ensuring accurate diagnostic images
• Guide patients through their orthodontic journey with clear instructions and encouragement
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with treatment planning
• Make every patient feel comfortable and cared for from arrival to departure

Qualifications

• Certified or trained Dental Assistant with strong clinical skills
• Experience in orthodontics is a big plus, though we're happy to train the right candidate
• Current CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, patient-centered practice
• Warm, professional, and caring attitude with excellent communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments, sterilization, and infection control protocols
• Comfortable taking dental x-rays and using dental software
• Understanding of orthodontic procedures and patient care workflows
• Detail-oriented and organized, with strong time management skills
• Team player who contributes to a positive work culture
