Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered nursing care in a fast-paced Level II Trauma Center
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and fellow nurses to create seamless care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures safely and efficiently
• Monitor patient conditions closely and respond quickly to changes
• Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and recovery
• Document care accurately and maintain compliance with hospital policies

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida or a compact state
• At least 1 year of recent acute care nursing experience
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Ability to work every other weekend and rotate holidays
• Strong adaptability and a positive, team-first attitude

Knowledge & Skills

• Trauma and acute care nursing principles
• Critical thinking and rapid clinical assessment
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Clear communication and strong collaboration
• Flexibility to thrive in a new environment quickly
