Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate labor and delivery care including vaginal deliveries and C-sections
• Monitor fetal well-being using GE fetal monitors and AWHONN standards
• Deliver antepartum, postpartum, and newborn care to mothers and babies
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of nurses, OB techs, and leadership
• Maintain accurate documentation in Meditech CPN electronic medical records
• Uphold infant security protocols and ensure a safe healing environment

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of labor and delivery experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certifications
• Experience with vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and antepartum care
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced maternal infant unit
• Active RN license in Virginia or compact state
