Registered Dietitian - NICU
Location: Dallas, TX
Start Date: 06-09-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating schedule including weekends and on-call, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $53 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess the nutritional status of NICU patients and develop individualized care plans
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of nutrition interventions for high-risk infants
- Collaborate with neonatologists, nurses, and the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
- Provide education and support to families on feeding and nutritional needs
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records
- Participate in care conferences and quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Must have Pediatric/NICU experience - this is non-negotiable
- Registered and Licensed Dietitian
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a NICU setting
- Ability to float as needed and work rotating weekends/on-call
- Team player with strong communication skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of neonatal and pediatric nutrition
- Competency in nutritional assessment and care planning
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Effective documentation and record-keeping
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced Level III NICU environment
