Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess the nutritional status of NICU patients and develop individualized care plans
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of nutrition interventions for high-risk infants
• Collaborate with neonatologists, nurses, and the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
• Provide education and support to families on feeding and nutritional needs
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records
• Participate in care conferences and quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Must have Pediatric/NICU experience - this is non-negotiable
• Registered and Licensed Dietitian
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a NICU setting
• Ability to float as needed and work rotating weekends/on-call
• Team player with strong communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of neonatal and pediatric nutrition
• Competency in nutritional assessment and care planning
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Effective documentation and record-keeping
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced Level III NICU environment
