Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to medical/surgical and oncology patients
• Administer medications safely, meeting a 98% medication scanning and administration compliance standard
• Monitor patient conditions, recognize changes, and respond quickly to ensure optimal outcomes
• Collaborate with charge nurses, RNs, CNAs, and unit staff to maintain smooth patient flow
• Document care accurately in Meditech EMR
• Float to Surg/Ortho & Rehab units as needed
• Build meaningful connections with patients and families through friendly, team-oriented care

Qualifications

• Active RN License in Idaho or compact state required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Exceptional communication and time management skills
• Medication safety proficiency required
• Chemotherapy certification preferred
• Flexibility to work days or nights preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in Meditech EMR
• Experience with Alaris IV pumps and Pyxis medication dispensing
• Comfortable using Arjo lifts and Novastat equipment
• Knowledge of oncology and medical-surgical patient care
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced 39-bed unit
