Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients admitted to the hospital with a strong rehab mindset
• Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and treatments
• Focus on functional, patient-centered treatment to help patients regain independence
• Collaborate with a dedicated rehab team in a critical access hospital setting
• Utilize Cerner documentation system to maintain accurate patient records

Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapy state license in North Carolina
• BLS certification required
• At least 1-2 years of experience preferred
• Ability to float to Eckerd Living Center within the same building if needed
• A passion for rehabilitation and helping patients thrive

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong skills in patient evaluation and treatment planning
• Experience with rehabilitation and functional mobility
• Comfortable using Cerner EMR
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent communication and patient engagement skills
