Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to mothers and newborns during labor and delivery
• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vitals, responding quickly to changes
• Assist with deliveries, including emergency procedures and McRoberts maneuver
• Manage labor, titrate medications, and perform cervical exams
• Support and educate families through the birthing process
• Collaborate with a skilled team of nurses, OBs, and technicians

Qualifications

• Active RN license (CA or compact)
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN certifications required
• Must be proficient in AWHONN fetal monitoring
• Experience with couplet care and postpartum floating preferred
