Location: Wilkes Barre, PA

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 8-hour shift; specific start/end times and days to be confirmed

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, safe, and efficient nursing care to residents and patients
Administer medications and treatments accurately following policies
Monitor and document patient status, reporting changes promptly
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care plans
Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges in a professional manner
Educate patients and families on care plans and follow-up needs

Qualifications

Active LPN license in Pennsylvania (required)
Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred
Strong clinical assessment and medication administration skills
Good communication skills and ability to work well on a team

Education

Completion of an accredited LPN/Vocational Nursing program (diploma or certificate)

Knowledge & Skills

Medication administration and accurate documentation
Vital signs, wound care basics, and infection control practices
Electronic medical record (EMR) charting familiarity
Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced clinical setting
Patient-centered care and clear communication with families
