Shift Type: Flexible 12-hour shifts, days and times vary based on unit needs and your availability
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, recognizing subtle changes and responding quickly
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as ordered
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and the healthcare team to optimize outcomes
- Educate and support families through difficult moments
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient safety standards
- Participate in resuscitation efforts and emergency response when needed
- Advocate for the unique needs of each child and family
Qualifications
- Current Massachusetts RN license or compact license eligibility
- BLS certification required
- PALS certification required
- Previous pediatric ICU or critical care experience strongly preferred
- BSN preferred but not required
- Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
- Compassionate, family-centered approach to care
Knowledge & Skills
- Pediatric critical care assessment and monitoring
- Ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
- Medication administration, including high-alert pediatric drugs
- Electronic health record documentation
- Family-centered communication and education
- Cardiopulmonary resuscitation and pediatric advanced life support
- Collaboration within interdisciplinary care teams
