Shift Type: Rotating weekends and holidays; on-call rotation. Day shift, 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM, may extend based on caseload. Option for 4x10 or 3x12 schedules.

Candidate Pay Rate: $28 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist surgical team as a scrub tech in a fast-paced Operating Room
• Prepare and maintain sterile field and surgical instruments
• Handle instrumentation for open heart, orthopedic, and other surgical procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia staff
• Participate in on-call rotation to support emergency surgeries
• Document procedures accurately in EPIC

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a busy OR department
• Current BLS certification required
• DCI/BVP certification required
• EPIC experience required
• All mandatory requirements and competencies must be met

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong understanding of surgical aseptic technique
• Expertise in OR instrumentation and sterile processing
• Ability to anticipate surgeon needs during cases
• Proficiency with EPIC documentation
• Comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced OR
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
