Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality X-ray examinations to aid in accurate diagnosis and treatment
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning during imaging procedures
• Operate and maintain radiology equipment, troubleshooting when needed
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to deliver exceptional patient care
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation

Qualifications

• Active and verifiable state licensure/certification as an X-Ray Tech
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications (or ability to obtain)
• Willingness to complete EDAP I/II or ENPC within 60 days if assigned to CHMC ER
• Proof of MMR and Varicella vaccination/declination
• Ability to pass drug screening and background check

Knowledge & Skills

• X-ray and radiology imaging expertise
• Patient positioning and radiation safety
• Operation and maintenance of radiography equipment
• Knowledge of emergency care protocols (BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
