Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to ICU patients
• Monitor critical conditions and respond quickly to changes in patient status
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to create and adjust care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions safely
• Document patient progress and outcomes accurately
• Educate and support patients and their families during critical times

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alabama or a compact state
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• ICU or critical care nursing experience preferred
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of critical care nursing principles
• Comfort with hemodynamic monitoring and ventilators
• Skilled in medication administration and IV therapy
• Excellent patient assessment and clinical judgment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
