Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding quickly to changes
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to create and update care plans
• Support and educate patients and their families during intensive care
• Document patient progress accurately and maintain meticulous records

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Louisiana
• Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
• ICU or critical care experience strongly preferred
• Ability to think quickly and act calmly in high-pressure situations
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of critical care nursing practices
• Skilled in ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
• Comfortable with intravenous therapy and medication administration
• Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) charting
• Excellent assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
