Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct care to residents as a GNA
Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and feeding
Monitor and document resident conditions, behaviors, and vital signs accurately
Communicate clearly with nursing staff and family members about resident needs
Maintain safety, infection control, and cleanliness standards on your shift
Support a positive, team-oriented care environment that promotes dignity and respect

Qualifications

Current GNA certification in the state of Maryland
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification preferred
Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings (TB, immunizations)
Reliable, punctual, and able to work the assigned night shift

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; GNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care and personal care skills
Infection control and safe handling practices
Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
Good communication and teamwork skills
Time management and ability to prioritize resident needs
Familiarity with electronic documentation is a plus
