Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $58 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders to help patients communicate and swallow safely
- Perform direct patient care including evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress monitoring
- Complete thorough documentation including initial evaluations, plans of care, progress reports, and discharge summaries
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians, dietitians, and other healthcare providers to deliver patient-centered treatment
- Educate staff and families on evaluation results and recommendations based on current research
- Create in-service presentations and educational opportunities for the healthcare team
- Support patients and families in navigating their healthcare journey
Qualifications
- Active Wisconsin state license as a Speech Therapist
- BLS/BCLS certification required
- Experience in speech, language, and swallowing disorder treatment
- Strong assessment and treatment planning skills
