Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $58 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assess and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders to help patients communicate and swallow safely
Perform direct patient care including evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress monitoring
Complete thorough documentation including initial evaluations, plans of care, progress reports, and discharge summaries
Collaborate with nurses, physicians, dietitians, and other healthcare providers to deliver patient-centered treatment
Educate staff and families on evaluation results and recommendations based on current research
Create in-service presentations and educational opportunities for the healthcare team
Support patients and families in navigating their healthcare journey

Qualifications

Active Wisconsin state license as a Speech Therapist
BLS/BCLS certification required
Experience in speech, language, and swallowing disorder treatment
Strong assessment and treatment planning skills
