Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess patients' speech, language, and swallowing abilities to develop personalized treatment plans
• Provide compassionate therapy to help patients improve communication and cognitive skills
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and families to ensure comprehensive care
• Document patient progress and adjust treatment strategies for optimal outcomes
• Educate patients and families on exercises and techniques to continue progress at home

Qualifications

• Valid Washington State Speech-Language Pathologist license
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Experience in a healthcare setting, with strong clinical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of speech, language, and swallowing disorders
• Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Excellent documentation and record-keeping skills
• Strong interpersonal and patient-education skills
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
