Speech-Language Pathologist - Skilled Nursing Facility
Location: Salisbury, Maryland

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $54 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and swallowing evaluations to develop personalized treatment plans
- Deliver skilled therapy services to help patients improve communication and swallowing function
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care
- Maintain accurate documentation while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
- Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to promote a healthy environment
Qualifications
- Master's degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
- Active Maryland SLP license or ability to obtain one
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or CFY eligibility
- Strong communication skills and a passion for helping others
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Education
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in speech, language, and swallowing disorders
- Patient evaluation and treatment planning
- Strong documentation and organizational skills
- Excellent collaboration and interdisciplinary communication
- Clinical problem-solving and critical thinking
- Knowledge of infection control regulations
