Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 36-hour shifts: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM or 9:00 AM - 6:30 PM; 40-hour shifts: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM; Weekend call every 4th-5th weekend; Weeknight call every 1-2 weeks; Holiday call rotation

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional surgical care in the OR, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to execute complex procedures seamlessly
Monitor patients pre, intra, and post-operatively for the best recovery experiences
Respond to call duties with precision and professionalism
Maintain sterile environments and adhere to the highest standards of surgical protocols

Qualifications

Active RN license in good standing
BLS and NIHSS certifications required
Recent OR experience preferred
Completion of specialty competency testing and skills checklist
Current immunizations including COVID-19, Tdap, Hepatitis B, and more

Education

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ADN/BSN)
Current unrestricted RN license

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in operating room procedures and sterile techniques
Strong assessment skills using NIHSS
Excellent teamwork and communication in high-pressure environments
Call response readiness and adaptability
