Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, rotating days/nights, includes 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and other shift timings; every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, evidence-based care to a diverse patient population including oncology, PCU, and med-surg cases
Administer chemotherapy and manage complex drips like heparin and cardizem
Monitor hemodynamic parameters and respond to changes in patient condition
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including PT/OT, case managers, and social workers
Float to med-surg and PCU units as needed, ensuring continuity of care
Be a champion for patient experience through hourly rounding and respectful communication

Qualifications

1+ year of recent PCU, oncology, or med-surg nursing experience
First-time travelers are welcome - we'll guide you through!
Chemotherapy certification strongly preferred (required to start)
Ability to pass a pass/fail open-book skills exam with 90% during orientation
Valid driver's license for radius verification

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in EPIC EMR
Ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring (CVP, A-line, Swan, EV-1000)
Chemotherapy administration and ONCC certification
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Adaptability to float between levels of care
