Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert nursing care to critically ill trauma patients in a Level 1 Trauma Center ICU
• Titrate vasopressors, sedatives, and antiarrhythmics to maintain hemodynamic stability
• Monitor and interpret telemetry, manage ventilator settings, and respond to emergencies
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care
• Adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment and float to other inpatient units when needed
• Mentor and support your team with your critical thinking and positive attitude

Qualifications

• Active RN license (compact states accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of intensive care unit experience
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Previous travel assignment experience (no first-time travelers)
• Valid driver's license for radius verification
• Comfort with EPIC charting system

Knowledge & Skills

• Critical care nursing expertise including ventilator management and drip titration
• Telemetry interpretation and cardiac rhythm recognition
• Experience with advanced hemodynamic monitoring (CVP, IABP, Impella, Swan-Ganz, EV-1000, ICP)
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills for high-pressure situations
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
