Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and polish patients' teeth
• Assess patients' oral health and report findings to the dentist
• Take and develop dental x-rays with precision
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Assist the dentist during procedures and ensure patient comfort
• Maintain sterile instruments and a clean, organized operatory

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Clinical dental hygiene experience preferred
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Attention to detail and strong infection control practices

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental anatomy and instruments
• Proficiency with dental software and record-keeping
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal and patient education abilities
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and comfortable patient experience
