Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate dental hygiene care, including cleanings, scaling, and root planing
• Educate patients on oral health practices and preventive care
• Take and develop dental X-rays with attention to patient comfort
• Assist the dentist during procedures to ensure smooth patient care
• Maintain accurate patient records and document treatment plans
• Sterilize and prepare dental instruments and treatment rooms
• Promote a welcoming, stress-free environment for every patient

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Pennsylvania
• CPR/BLS certification
• Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities
• Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental hygiene procedures, instruments, and materials
• Proficiency in taking and interpreting dental X-rays
• Understanding of infection control and sterilization protocols
• Strong interpersonal skills with patients and colleagues
• Time management and organization skills
• Familiarity with dental practice management software
