Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional dental hygiene care to patients, ensuring comfort and quality
• Focus on professional cleanings and preventive care without the need for x-rays or exams
• Work alongside a dedicated dental assistant to streamline patient care
• Educate patients on oral hygiene best practices and preventive techniques
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following all health and safety protocols

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in New Jersey
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Previous experience in dental hygiene settings
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with dental support staff

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and instruments
• Skilled in patient education and motivational interviewing
• Ability to manage a half-hour patient slot efficiently
• Strong attention to detail and aseptic technique
• Adaptable to a fast-paced clinical environment
