Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide chairside dental hygiene care, including scaling, polishing, and preventive treatments
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and at-home care routines
• Collaborate with your dental assistant to streamline the patient experience
• Maintain accurate patient records and document care provided
• Ensure treatment rooms are prepared and sterilized to the highest standards
• Follow infection control protocols and create a calm, welcoming atmosphere

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in New Jersey
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Excellent communication skills and a patient-first mindset
• Ability to work efficiently with an assistant by your side
• Comfortable using modern dental equipment

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and instruments
• Understanding of sterilization and infection control standards
• Skill in patient education and oral health counseling
• Ability to collaborate effectively with dental assistants and staff
• Attention to detail, organization, and time management
