Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform dental hygiene procedures including cleanings, scaling, and root planing
• Take and develop dental x-rays to assist in diagnosis
• Assess patients' oral health and report findings to the dentist
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques for long-term wellness
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Sterilize and prepare dental instruments and treatment rooms
• Deliver compassionate care that keeps patients comfortable and informed

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in the state of Virginia
• Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
• Current CPR certification
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Previous experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong understanding of dental hygiene procedures and best practices
• Proficiency with dental software and patient management systems
• Attention to detail and excellent manual dexterity
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Patient education skills that promote proactive oral health
